Welcome to Earth Rhythms, the nonprofit group that is now presenting Winter SolstiCelebration, with other projects in the works.

For a young organization just formed in March 2007, we came a long way in our first year – forming a board and volunteer group, filing for nonprofit and tax-exempt status, and running a contest for our neat logo, plus creating cards, brochures and banners for our outreach. We launched a monthly e-newsletter and created this terrific web site.

What a year!

As Earth Rhythms executive director and the founder of Winter SolstiCelebration, I am entirely grateful to our board, especially Valerie Grimes and Rodney Steman, our volunteers, and my husband Scooter Smith for the hard work of turning a vision into reality.
